Eastham Public Library Dedicated on February 4th
The Eastham Public Library's formal dedication ceremony was held on Saturday as part of a week-long celebration of its long-awaited transformation and re-opening. Photos of the well-attended event can be seen here on the Library's Facebook page.
Eastham Celebrates Library Opening

Office Field Trip
We had a great office outing today to see construction progress on our public libraries for the towns of Scituate and Eastham. Scituate is scheduled for completion at the end of the year. Eastham will be finished in about a month.
Scituate Town Library Groundbreaking
Held on September 1st, the successful groundbreaking event formally kicked off the construction process for the 32,000 square foot, two-story library's renovation-expansion. For a local report on the groundbreaking ceremony, click here.
OEA in Library Journal
Principals Matt Oudens and Conrad Ello both received mention in a recent Library Journal article summarizing the Design Institute hosted in Boston last December. As sponsors of the event, OEA led a workshop analyzing the Kingston Public Library as a case study for library expansion and renovation. In the workshop OEA presented Kingston Library's current challenges along with three architectural approaches to expand the Library's square footage. A brief summary of the workshop can be found here.
