In preparation for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the mid-century modern Harrison & Abromovitz designed Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts and coinciding with Dartmouth College’s “Year of the Arts,” Oudens Ello Architecture was hired to provide strategic improvements to the building including wayfinding and signage strategies, AV installations, furniture and cosmetic improvements, and conversion of former art studios, (vacated after completion of the new Visual Arts Center) to flexible dance and musical performance practice space, dubbed “The Hop Garage”.
