Marika Kobel
Designer
Marika joined Oudens Ello Architecture in 2023 with over 10 years of experience. She was born and raised in Massachusetts, but spent several years living, studying and traveling in Europe and Australasia. Prior to joining OEA Marika was a designer at Utile, OPAL Architecture, Perry Dean Rogers and Payette, where she acted in the role of project manager, project architect and designer for a range of commercial, institutional and residential projects.
Marika graduated from MIT with a Master of Architecture and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from RISD. She has a deep interest in sustainable building and has been a Certified Passive House Consultant since 2021. Prior to engaging in her architecture career, Marika spent several years in the fine and graphic arts world, including gallery, museum, graphic design and furniture design work. Marika spends a lot of free time in the northern Berkshires and hitting the trails with her dog Frida.
